The ROPEX Resistron RES-409 controller utilizes microprocessor technology for sensorless, closed-loop control of impulse heating elements. The ROPEX RES-409 is designed for simple plug-in system integration.

The ROPEX Resistron RES-409 contains the following features:

• Alarm function with fault diagnostics

• Booster terminal (MOD 26) as standard (as of February 2007)

• Selectable temperature range (0...300°C, 0...500°C)

• 0...10 VDC analog output for ACTUAL temperature

• Additional 24 VDC control signals for START 0 (Set 0) and START 1 (Set 1)

• Automatic configuration of secondary voltage and current ranges
  (AUTORANGE, as of February 2007)
